This is the official home of Houston’s favorite ska band, The Suspects. We rock AND roll, all night long sweet Susie! We are that band you saw in the ’90s, we did break up for a little while, and we did get back together in 2007. Come out and see us play!

Not only do The Suspects play this Thursday, July 30th at the Continental Club, but you’ll be seeing our faces in the Houston Chronicle’s entertainment section that day as well. We’re very excited about our upcoming show… playing at the Continental Club is always a great experience, but this time all you ska lovers have a reason to show up early: Channel One is a very talented band and you will love their smooth, jazzy delivery.
A few of The Suspects caught them at Fitzgeralds last year, and we could not understand why there wasn’t a bigger crowd. Hopefully, you guys can show them that Houston is still a great place for ska bands and ska fans to mingle.

Tune in to Houston AM radio super-station KGOW, “The Game”, on Monday October 13 at 12:15pm and listen to David Nuno and local fast-food celebrity Ken Hoffman interview Bill and Thomas. I’m sure we’ll cover such interesting topics as, “aren’t you guys are kinda old to be in a band?”, and “just what is ska, anyways?”.

Ok, well… it is a comeback.
The Suspects are proud to announce that we’re climbing back in the saddle for another lap around the track; we are once again a full-time band. Shows will be booked and songs will be written. Shirts will be printed and beer will be spilled. Good times.
