So, What The Heck Is Going On?
by admin ~ October 13th, 2005. Filed under: News.Back in June we teased you with some loose information on reunion rumors and bad haikus. After throwing around a lot of emails between the ex-Suspects, I will confirm and clarify what we know, what we attempted, and what we’re trying to do in the future.
- What We Know
- We know that all of the ex-Suspects are in favor of the idea of a reunion-type show.
- What We Attempted
- We tried to arrange a show for the July 4th, 2005 weekend, but not everybody was available. More recently, we pinged everybody to see if getting together for any type of a post-Katrina benefit show could be done… not everybody was available. Right after that, we compared schedules to see if doing a show around Christmas or New Years Eve was feasible. Not surprisingly, not everybody was available.
- What We’re Trying To Do In The Future
- The desire to play is there, but everything is dependent on the out-of-state ex-Suspects and their travel schedules. The best guess as to the next possible window of Suspects availablity is Summer of 2006.
Now you know.

mr weafer:
Your email was deleted in my weekly InBox cleanup, sorry. I can assure you that we were not the first band to use the name and we knew we wouldn’t be the last. If you feel you gotta, go ahead and be The Suspects.
Just between you and me, I personally feel it’s was/is pretty lousy name for a band.

I was never crazy about the name either, but it got the job done.
I saw a band called “Let’s Get Out Of This Terrible Sandwich Shop” this past weekend.

Hey Suspects,
I really need a night at Fitz with the Suspects, the Bostones and some Ice Cold Shiner. I’ve got all the CDs I just need some Caffine Attitude and to hang from the rafters again at Fitzs with some good Ska!
